Choosing the Proper Wind Load Procedure {Video}

Are you familiar with the different wind load methods available in the ASCE 7-10 Code? Would a reference guide be helpful in determining which method should be used on your projects?

During the September 2015 SE University session, Clarifying Frequently Misunderstood Wind Load Provisions, Emily Guglielmo, SE, from Martin/Martin Inc., identified which wind load method(s) are available for various building classifications (enclosed, simple diaphragms, building height, etc). The information was presented in highlighted flowcharts referencing specific chapters and parts in the ASCE 7-10 Code.
