During this SE University presentation, Whitney McNulty, PE, SECB, of BL Companies, discussed flexural design of single angles using the provisions in Chapter F of the AISC Steel Design Specification, as well as his book, Single Angle Design Manual. Geometric axis and principal axis bending of equal and unequal leg angles were presented, and flexural deflection of single angle members was also covered.
