Resilience is discussed often in the structural engineering profession and construction industry. The terminology associated with resilience is often misused, which leads to misunderstandings and missed opportunities to contribute to actual community resilience. This session will provide a primer on resilience and how it relates to structural engineering and what you can do when asked to be part of a project focused on resilience.
