This SE University session focused on an engineering ethics case study of one of the lawsuits that arose out of the Kansas City Hyatt Regency collapse in 1981, which killed 114 people. The presentation included a review of the case background, its material facts, and its outcome, followed by a discussion of important lessons to be learned from the case.
