Guide to Understanding a Project Geotechnical Report (12:30pm – 2pm Eastern)
Everyone experiences the challenges of dealing with conflict in the engineering office, both internally (with colleagues), and externally (with clients). The soft skill of communication as it relates to conflict resolution is a key component in leadership development. These skills are not often a primary focus of instruction for engineers, but the benefits of developing these skills are substantial.
This SE University session presented ideas for how engineers can build their conflict resolution skills to help them in the office with colleagues and clients alike.
Session Length: 1.0 hour
