Guide to Understanding a Project Geotechnical Report (12:30pm – 2pm Eastern)
This SE University session included a review of the various methods allowed in the ASCE 7-10 standard for the determination of the Components and Cladding design wind pressures. The presentation discussed the change of the wind provisions to “ultimate” loads, and the advantages and disadvantages associated with each of the various methods for determining the design wind pressures allowed in the standard.
