This SE University session gave an overview of the origins, characteristics, and substance of both voluntary-membership and state-regulatory ethics rules pertaining to the regulated profession of professional engineering. During the session, case studies were presented in order to examine four hypothetical fact-patterns, and the ethical implications of each were discussed.
