This session focused on the legal and contractual implications of building information modeling. It addressed the issue of licensing and ownership of the model, contractual issues such as what should be included in prime and sub consultant agreements, technical protocol documents and what should be included in them, and insurance issues including how the standard of care is affected and what should be done about it.
