Session Details

This SE University session focused on seismic design for buildings, and extrapolated the information to industrial buildings. ASCE 7 Chapters 12 and 15 were explored, and the presentation covered items in both high and low seismic risk categories. During the presentation, the speaker also discussed proper selection of R factors, appropriate equations for design, and required detailing provisions.
