This SEU BIM Forum session will include a discussion and demonstration of the tools needed when creating 2D details in Revit 2026. During the session, presenter Betsy Werra will explain how to create 2D details, and demonstrate how intelligent detail components can be used to enhance the details. She will also cover the options for annotating details, and review the Revit tools that are used in creating and viewing details, importing and exporting details, and organizing details so that they can easily be placed on drawings.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the options for creating details in Revit.
  • Identify how to use detail component families and how to annotate the details.
  • Define various Revit tools that are used in creating and viewing details.
