Session Details

1.5 PDHs / 0.2 IACET CEUs

This SEU session explores the evolving design requirements for post-installed mechanical and adhesive anchors in cracked masonry substrates. Attendees will learn how recent ICC-ES acceptance criteria have introduced cracked masonry testing and strength design provisions, how these requirements differ from concrete anchor design, and what engineers should consider when selecting design methodologies, reviewing evaluation reports, and specifying inspection requirements for post-installed masonry anchorage applications.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe post-installed anchor design options in cracked and uncracked masonry.
  • Identify how post-installed anchors in cracked and uncracked masonry gain building code compliance.
  • Determine when cracked masonry provisions apply to post-installed anchor design.

Session Registration Emails will be sent on Friday, October 9th.

Session Handouts will be made available by Tuesday, October 13th.
