Guide to Understanding a Project Geotechnical Report (12:30pm – 2pm Eastern)
Load paths are essential to understand in structural analysis as well as connection design. This SE University session reviewed the most common mistakes made in assuming load paths, and provided suggestions on how to avoid them. Load paths for gravity and lateral systems for steel framed buildings were reviewed, as well as the load paths for connections. The load path of transfer forces was also addressed in this session.
Session Length: 1.5 Hours
