Session Description

In this SEU BIM Forum session, presenter Betsy Werra will discuss in-depth tools for Rebar Modeling and detailing using Revit 2025. She will focus on the various tools for Rebar placement such as Shape Driven Rebar, Free Form Rebar, as well as Structural Area, Path, and Fabric Reinforcement. Betsy will also focus on various Editing Tools for splicing Rebar, managing Rebar constraints, and propagating the model elements with reinforcement. Finally, she will deliver various methods for rebar visualization and presentation, the use of tags, multi-rebar annotations, and schedules.

  • Identify the various Rebar Project Settings and Rebar Placement Options.
  • Recognize the tools to edit Rebar and understand how Rebar reacts to the host Concrete Elements.
  • Describe Presentation Options to display Rebar properly.
