Session Description

This SEU BIM Forum session will include a demonstration of features in Autodesk Revit 2026 software, including the 2026.1 and 2026.2 update install enhancements. Revit 2026 focuses on better collaboration, increased modeling accuracy, and smarter documentation tools from faster view generation to more flexible design options and expanded interoperability. During the session, presenter Betsy Werra will be exploring the latest development of Revit enhanced tools for structural engineers and designers. This session will cover the new Core features including new tools and enhancements to help generate consistent, coordinated, and complete model-based building designs and documentation, as well as the Structural improvements for Concrete Rebar, Steel Design, and Structural Analysis.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the new and improved enhancements in Revit 2026.
  • Identify how the Revit 2026 Design Productivity, User Interface, and Interoperability enhancements can be implemented in an everyday workflow.
  • Identify the Structural enhancements for Rebar Design, Steel Connections, and Analytical Modeling.
